The original Ottoman currency was the Akce- little white one-with 3 Akce = 1 Para. In 1688 the Kurus was introduced = 40 Para. Obv. in center Konstantinople in Old Turkish with AH 1115 at the bottom . Reverse, Tughra- Ottoman emblem- at center.
