Intended for international trade, this non-circulating pattern coin had the familiar 20 denomination of the Spanish 20 peseta and the Italian 20 lire coins, but 5 times their weight and value-

30 grams of gold, 1.5 grams of silver and 3.5 grams of copper for 35 grams total and thus 5 times the value of the regular 4 dollar stellas.
