Dancing in Dandelion Dust

This daffy cartoon character is dancing in the dandelion dust as the seeds are blowing all around him. Dandelion flowers have a unique structure, with hundreds of small flowers clustered together to form a globe. Once the flower is pollinated, it transforms into a white puffball of seeds attached to feathery bristles called "parachutes". The feathery bristles catch the wind and allow the seeds to travel great distances, often landing in new locations where they can germinate and begin a new life cycle.
