Dambusters 75th Anniversary watch
Carrying Barnes Wallis revolutionary bouncing bomb payload, a squadron of World War IIs capable night aircraft embarked on the critical Operation Chastise on the 17th May 1943. Symbolising the hopes of the Allied nations, the courageous crew of 617 Squadron were led by Wing Commander Guy Gibson as they soared into military history as the Dambusters. Successfully breaching the Mhne Dam, the innovative Upkeep mine was dropped from Flt. Lt. David Maltbys Aircraft.
