Marketing/Embed your watch faces online

Embed your watch faces online

Drop a live, interactive preview of a watch face into any webpage.

The quickest way

Open any watch face on WatchMaker and click the Share icon — the embed snippet is right there, ready to paste.

Or generate a snippet here

Paste a watch ID or slug (the last part of the /watchface/... URL) to get your snippet instantly.

<iframe src="https://getwatchmaker.com/watchface/YOUR_WATCH_ID/embed" width="435" height="580" style="border:0;border-radius:16px;"></iframe>

What the embed actually renders

  • •A live render — the same engine the WatchMaker app uses. The second hand actually moves.
  • •Animations built into the face (transitions, spinning complications, ambient effects).
  • •Themes — the currently-active theme shows by default.
  • •Interactive tap hotspots — chronograph start/stop, script-defined tap actions, and anything else the creator wired up.
  • •A “Get it on WatchMaker” badge for installs, plus a credit line for the creator.

Where you can paste it

  • •Any raw HTML page (your portfolio, landing page, blog).
  • •Notion — paste the iframe URL into an “/embed” block.
  • •Squarespace, Webflow, Wix, Framer — use an HTML/embed block.
  • •Ghost, Substack, WordPress — HTML block.
  • •Medium — via a GitHub gist wrapper (Medium doesn't accept raw iframes).

Sizing tips

  • •The default size is 435 × 580 — good for side-by-side examples in a blog post.
  • •For a hero placement, go 600 × 800 or larger.
  • •Minimum usable size is roughly 280 × 380 — below that the controls get cramped.
  • •For responsive embeds, wrap the iframe in a position: relative; padding-top: 133% container and set the iframe to position: absolute; inset: 0; width/height: 100%.
