Revolving Disk

This is a visual representation of the day/night cycle based on the actual sunrise and sunset times at your location and time of year.

The main disk with the hand pointing to the outer ring displaying the hour of the day, spins around the center in exactly 12 hours like a normal 12h analogue watch.

The Roman numbers hours it points to change color when indicated as well as rounding the current hour up or down based on 30 minutes for easier readability.

The upper half of the background changes from day to night, turning the display into a true 24 hour watch but still using the preferred 12 hour dial.

Sunrise and sunset times are indicated by a small circle near the bezel. After sunset it keeps indicating the sunset time for a few hours for better orientation, then disappears and the sunrise indicator appears and vice versa.

I have made many versions of this watch design incorporating many other additional functions and indicators.

For example, a version with an additional smaller disk rotating in sync but opposite to the bigger disk. It can be used to display anything - the current minute, the date, the battery percentage, ....

Since everybody has their own preferences, I decided to first release the most basic version of this design and wait for feedback.
