Bio-Samuel Iwry, 1910-2002, Professor

Iwry was Professor Emeritus of Near Eastern Studies at Johns Hopkins U., Professor and Dean at the Baltimore Hebrew College. He wrote the first PhD dissertation on the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1951.

It was only in 1991, when he retired, that C-14 dating confirmed his long disputed analysis that the Scrolls were from Roman times and not Medieval. Pics alternate every 20 secs.
