Byzantine Gold Solidus, Constantinius II, Missorium, 337-361 CE

His ornate gilded silver dish, a Missorium, was found near Kerch in the Crimea and now displayed at the Hermitage museum in St. Petersburg. It shows the emperor on horseback leading a soldier and being crowned.
